I am concerned that the quality of the air, particularly in the living room, may be suspect, either from a feature of the premises, or some other reason; and to such an extent that it may be having a negative impact on our health. After a very short time sitting in there, say 10 minutes, extreme lassitude sets in. Would this indicate a case for air testing? For what range of substances would one test, and if injurious substances are indicated, how would one take remedial action? (We have a CO monitor in the hall which registers clear). I need to know if the ventalation system(the ducked work)is supposed to be checked as well not just taking a wand around a room in different spots and checking that way. Many times the activation of a heating system can cause an indoor air problem to worsen. If there is excessive dust on your electric heating system, by turning it on it may be sending those particles into the air. Your best bet would be to contact a qualified expert in your area. Donna,
